Share Amount Authorized: 5% of outstanding common shares
Buyback Details: In addition, First Trust Advisors L.P. is pleased to announce that the Board of Trustees of each of First Trust Enhanced Equity Income Fund (NYSE:FFA), Macquarie/First Trust Global Infrastructure/Utilities Dividend & Income Fund (NYSE:MFD), First Trust/Aberdeen Global Opportunity Income Fund (NYSE:FAM) and First Trust Energy Infrastructure Fund (NYSE:FIF) has adopted a Share Repurchase Program. Pursuant to each Fund's Share Repurchase Program, each fund, may, from time to time and at the direction of management personnel, repurchase up to 5% of such fund's outstanding common shares in secondary market transactions in accordance with applicable law. Each fund's share repurchase program will continue until the earlier of (i) the repurchase of 5% of each fund's current outstanding common shares, or (ii) March 15, 2017.

First Trust Energy Infrastructure Fund is a closed-end management investment company. The Fund's investment objective is to seek a high level of total return with a focus on current distributions paid to shareholders. The Fund pursues its investment objective by investing primarily in securities of companies engaged in the energy infrastructure sector.
