United States Steel produces and sells steel products, including flat-rolled and tubular products, in North America and Europe. Co.'s segments are: North American Flat-Rolled, which is involved in the production of slabs, strip mill plates, sheets and tin mill products, as well as all iron ore and coke production facilities in the U.S.; Mini Mill, which produces hot-rolled, cold-rolled and coated sheets and electrical steels; U. S. Steel Europe, which produces and sells slabs, strip mill plate, sheet, tin mill products and spiral welded pipe; and Tubular Products, which produces and sells electric resistance welded steel casing and tubing, and standard and line pipe and mechanical tubing.
