Contact Exploration Inc. is pleased to announce that it has closed its previously announced non-brokered private placement (the "Private Placement") of common shares in the capital of the Company, to be issued on a "flow-through" basis pursuant to the Income Tax Act (Canada) ("Flow-Through Shares"). Contact issued an aggregate of 9,460,500 Flow-Through Shares in the Private Placement, at a price of $0.24 per Flow-Through Share for aggregate gross proceeds of $2,270,520, inclusive of 187,467 Flow-Through Shares that were issued today (for gross proceeds of $44,992.08) in the final tranche of the Private Placement. The Company paid a cash finder's fee of $49,677.60 related to subscriptions for 2,957,000 of the Flow-Through Shares in the Private Placement.
