Acquiree: Internet Broadcasting Systems, Inc.
Details: Nexstar Broadcasting Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:NXST) ("Nexstar") announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of Internet Broadcasting Systems, Inc. ("IB"), a leading digital publishing platform and digital agency services provider for $20.0 million in a transaction that is expected to be accretive to 2014 results. The acquisition will be funded through internal sources and is expected to close later this month.

Nexstar Media Group is a television broadcasting and digital media company focused on the acquisition, development and operation of television stations and interactive community websites and digital media services. Co. also owns NewsNation, a live daily national news and general entertainment cable network, two digital multicast networks and other multicast network services, various digital products, services and content, an ownership stake in Television Food Network, G.P., and a portfolio of real estate assets. The stations Co. owns and operates or provides services to provide programming to its markets' television viewing audiences.
