Details: The Home Depot, the world's largest home improvement retailer, today announced that it has acquired Blinds.com. Based in Houston, Blinds.com is the #1 online window coverings retailer in the world. The acquisition closed today, and terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The Home Depot is a home improvement retailer that sells a range of building materials, home improvement products and lawn and garden products and provides a number of services. As of Jan 29 2017, Co. had 2,278 The Home Depot stores located throughout the U.S., including the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the territories of the U.S. Virgin Islands and Guam, Canada and Mexico. Co. serves three primary customer groups: Do-It-Yourself customers, Do-It-For-Me customers, and professional customers. Co.'s products include Thomasville® Studio 1904 kitchen cabinets; DEWALT FLEXVOLT® system for power tools; Makita® subcompact drills; and Milwaukee M18 FUEL® with ONE KEY™ power tools.
