(Nasdaq: SNAK), a leading specialty food marketer and manufacturer, today announced that it has signed a non-binding letter of intent for the purchase of the berry processing business of Willamette Valley Fruit Company, LLC (WVFC), including building and ground leases. Terms were not disclosed, as the transaction remains subject to completion of due diligence, agreement on a definitive purchase agreement, and other customary closing conditions. |
Inventure Foods is a marketer and manufacturer of snack food brands. In Co.'s healthy/natural food category, products include Rader Farms® frozen berries, Boulder Canyon® Authentic Foods brand kettle cooked potato chips, Willamette Valley Fruit Company frozen fruit and vegetables, Fresh Frozen frozen fruit and vegetables, Jamba® branded blend-and-serve smoothie kits, Seattle's Best Coffee® Frozen Coffee Blends branded blend-and-serve frozen coffee beverage. In Co.'s indulgent specialty snack food category, products include T.G.I. Friday's® brand snacks. Co. also manufactures private label snack chip products for several grocery chains and natural stores and co-pack products.
