General merchandise includes household items, convenience and fresh foods, personal care, beauty care, photofinishing and candy. Co. provides pharmacy, health and wellness services such as retail, pharmacy, infusion and respiratory services, mail service, convenient care clinics and worksite clinics. Co. also provides services through its Take Care Health Systems, Inc. subsidiary, which manages its Take Care Clinics at select drugstores. As of Aug 31 2012, Co. operated 8,385 locations in 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam and Puerto Rico, excluding 360 Take Care clinics.
