ULURU Inc. (OTCQB: ULUR),a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on the development of a portfolio of wound management and oral care products, today announced the completion of a definitive agreement to sell an aggregate of 1,100,000 shares of its common stock at a price per share of $0.40 pursuant to a previously announced private placement to management, resulting in gross proceeds of $440,000. Participating in the private placement were Kerry P. Gray, the Company's Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer and Terrance K. Wallberg, the Company's Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
ULURU is a pharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing a range of wound care and muco-adhesive film products based on its Nanoflex® and OraDisc™ drug delivery technologies. Co.'s Nanoflex technology has a system of hydrogen-like nanoparticles that aggregate immediately and irreversibly upon contact with physiological fluid, such as wound exudate or blood, forming a flexible, nano-porous, non-resorbable material. Co.'s OraDisc technology comprises a multi-layered film having an adhesive layer, a pre-formed film layer, and a coated backing layer. Co.'s marketed products include Altrazeal®, Aphthasol® and Aptheal® (Amlexanox 5% Paste), OraDisc™ A and OraDisc™ B.
