Deswell: is an independent manufacturer of injection-molded plastic parts and components, electronic products and subassemblies and metallic molds and accessory parts for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and contract manufacturers. The Company conducts all of its manufacturing activities at separate plastics, electronics and metallic operation factories located in the People's Republic of China. Spartech: together with its subsidiaries, is an intermediary processor of engineered thermoplastics. The Company converts base polymers or resins purchased from commodity suppliers into extruded plastic sheet and roll stock, specialty film laminates, acrylic products, specialty plastic alloys, color concentrates and blended resin compounds, and injection molded and profile extruded products. A Schulman: is engaged in the sale of plastic resins in various forms, which are used as raw materials by its customers. The Company operates primarily in two geographic segments: North America and Europe, including Asia (Europe). The Company combines basic resins purchased from plastic resin producers, and through mixing and extrusion processes, introduces additives that provide color, stabilizers, flame retardants or other enhancements that may be required by a customer. |
