Buyback Details: ARMOUR Residential REIT, Inc. (NYSE: ARR, ARR PrA and ARR PrB) ("ARMOUR" or the "Company") today announced that its board of directors has authorized an increase to its existing stock repurchase program of up to an aggregate of 9,000,000 shares of the Company's outstanding common stock, par value $0.001 per share. The Company's previous 9,000,000 repurchase authorization was established in July 2015. Under that authorization, the Company has repurchased approximately 7,376,000 shares of common stock, including open market purchases of 250,000 shares since May 30, 2019.

ARMOUR Residential REIT is a real estate investment trust. Co. invests in mortgage backed securities, issued or guaranteed by a U.S. Government-sponsored entity, such as the Federal National Mortgage Association, the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation, or a government agency such as Government National Mortgage Administration (collectively, Agency Securities). Co.'s Agency Securities consist primarily of fixed rate loans. The remaining are either backed by hybrid adjustable rate or adjustable rate loans. Co. also invests in Credit Risk and Non-Agency Securities, Interest-Only Securities, U.S. Treasury Securities and money market instruments.
